• Volatility: share prices can rise and fall sharply. NGX stocks can move up to 10% in a single day.
• Liquidity: some NGX stocks trade in small volumes, so you may not be able to buy or sell at the price you want.
• Currency: US stocks are priced in dollars. Changes in the naira exchange rate can increase or reduce your returns, and moving money abroad has costs and rules.
• Leverage and derivatives: trading on margin or with leveraged products can multiply losses. Globfolio does not recommend them.

CoachOge and Globfolio staff may own, buy or sell shares in companies we write about, including every holding shown in the G30 and Whisper index portfolios. We disclose those holdings to members. To protect members, our team does not buy or sell a stock from 48 hours before until 48 hours after an alert on that stock is published.

6. Data and timing

Prices, market data and news on Globfolio come from third-party providers and may be delayed (NGX data by up to 3 minutes) or occasionally wrong. Always check the live price with your broker before you trade.

7. Members' views and brokers

Chatroom messages, broker ratings and reviews are members' own opinions. Brokers listed on Globfolio are not endorsed by us. Check that any broker is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria (for Nigerian stocks), or with the US SEC and FINRA (for US stocks), before opening an account.
